The Worm Turns - 1937 Disney Studios The bottle appears at 2:46 minutes, the fly appears at 2:49 minutes, and the splashes appear at 2:47 minutes.
This amazing piece was actually found inside a puzzle box! This is the first time this piece has been released to the collector's market. The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13")
The cels have become mildly wavy which is common for production material of this kind. Please note the light reflection visible in the web image is not on the piece itself. There are multiple areas of paint loss in the liquid splashes and bubbles, most notably near the fly's fist, and along the right side, as well as in the puddle of fly spray. There is some very slight adhesive residue just between the fly's elbow and his wing. The cels are stapled together to the background in each corner, which could be easily matted out. There is evidence of some handling in the painted background. There are a few tiny flecks of stray paint throughout. There is some paint separation with slight cracking in the puddle of liquid, as well as in a few of the droplets, and in the bottle of fly spray. There is evidence of some slight paint discoloration running along the right edge of the bottle. There is some slight tearing in the cels in the lower righthand corner, where they have been stapled to the background. This could be easily matted out. There is evidence of several pinholes in each corner of the background, which could be easily matted out.
