The Swimming Pool is widely known as the first Flintstones short due to the fact that the original 90 second pilot was made up of scenes from the Swimming Pool, which was technically the third episode released in the first season.
This is a fantastic gag of Fred getting a taste of his own medicine! Note that there are a total of 5 images here, with the last one being of Fred being thrown into the pool off-screen.
The storyboard paper measures 5" x 11.75" for the first two and the storyboard of the splash measures 5" x 6". The storyboards are adhered to black backing paper. There are pin holes in the corners, the paper is slightly wavy and shows signs of handling.
